TEAM NUTRITION FAKTORY

My name is Jayde Taylor and I compete with the IFBB in the bikini division. I started competing in 2014 as a goal to gain weight, I was 74 pounds when I started, and then was fortunate enough to received my pro card at JR USAs in 2015. I love competing and sharing my passion of fitness with others. Outside of competing I am the Southern District manager of The Goat bar and restaurant as well as a proud corgi mom of 2.

My youth was spent either working, feeding the livestock, or playing peewee football in South Texas. That being said, teamwork has been a huge part of my life for such a long time. It's been essential in any successful endeavours I've come across and now I get to call myself a part of the best team there is! Team Nutrition Faktory! #DOMORE

Charles Rucker is the CEO of Ruck Nutrition and True Discipline, Personal Training. He is also fitness model, a motivational speaker and a Real Estate Agent. Charles has been an NPC for the past 7 years, including competing in over 30 regional and national shows.
Charles was born and raised in Morristown, TN. He played football throughout high school, earning him a football scholarship. After a life-threatening car accident during his first year, followed by multiple surgeries, he had to sideline his football career – which drew him to health and wellness.
Charles began competing in 2012 at the NPC Music City Muscle show where he won his class. This was followed by nearly 20 top 3 placings over the next 5 years. He has also been published in over 8 different fitness magazines. In 2018 Charles was accepted to compete in the Arnold Classic as he was in preparation and preparing to complete 5 weeks out from the show he was faced with another challenge. He passes out on a plane ride coming back from the LA expo with his team. When he was taken into the ER they told him that he had an infection that had got into his blood stream and they will have to do emergency surgery within 2 hours. After spending 7 days in the hospital recuperating after surgery Charles decided to still work towards competing in the Arnold. 5 weeks of training non stop Charles was able to not only compete, but to place in the finals, top 10 out of the 40 plus competitors. Charles is on his journey now to become a great entrepreneur. So he will be able to give back to his community, and continues to share his story of overcoming tragedies, inspire and help the next generation.

Hi y’all! My name is Faith Hall, and I’ve been in the fitness industry for about 5 years now. I competed in bikini bodybuilding competitions for 3 years, was nationally qualified and wanted to go to nationals, but competing really screwed up my metabolism and I’ve been trying to fix it ever since! Nutrition Faktory has been a huge part in helping me feel like myself again! I am also a full time nurse, and furthering my nursing education right now. The gym is a huge stress outlet for me, and you need the right supplements to help you succeed! Excited to be apart of the Nutrition Faktory team

After 16 years of competitive sports came to an unexpected end after an injury I searched relentlessly to find a new niche. I found my home in the gym as a trainer and became enveloped in learning more about health and fitness. I strive to empower women to break through barriers physically, mentally, and emotionally to achieve their vision of success. Over time, my competitive edge has been brought back to life in the world of CrossFit & Olympic lifting at local competitions.

Currently I am a working student who is involved in playing football for the Nashville Knights and had competed in the NPC for 4 years. I had a crazy journey starting at a very unhealthy place and honestly shouldn’t be alive today. But thanks to the people I have in my life and finding the gym, I took back my life. Maybe one day my story will help others defy their own odds.

I’m a 41 year old nurse and mother of 2. I’ve lost 125 pounds and have kept it off going on 6 years now. I workout 6-7 days a week. I will be competing in my first figure fitness competition this year. I truly believe in living a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Jacob Pinkston, born and raised in Kentucky. Been into bodybuilding since 2015. Before that I was in track and field all during middle and high school. Went to state then graduated and right into college I went. Graduated with a culinary degree and moved to Nashville. Goal is to compete in Men's Physique and someday start a company to help people with nutritional meals.

I started my fitness journey in the summer of 2016. After living overseas for 3 years and indulging in all of the delicious European food, I gained the heaviest I’ve ever been, 155lbs, which for my BMI, was considered overweight. I did not like the person I saw in the mirror. My clothes started to fit differently and I became very insecure about myself. I promised myself that once I moved back to the States, I would jump start my fitness journey and seriously devote myself to this journey. I was inspired by so many women on social media and the local fitness community. I wanted to have the drive all of these women had. I knew it would be tough and I knew it would be my biggest challenge yet. I was tired of running out of energy and feeling drained after every work day. I wanted to feel healthy again, mentally and physically. Weight lifting changed my life! I am happy with where my fitness journey has taken me. I achieved a major goal in my life and saw results I thought I could never achieve! I decided to compete to prove to myself and to others that results come with hard work and dedication. You can do anything you set your mind to! Trust the process and never give up. When you’re feeling down, that’s when you push harder! Fitness not only became a lifestyle but one of my greatest passions, and I look forward to growing further into my fitness journey and inspiring others to reach their fitness goals, as I did!
Nutrition Faktory is a store I can get behind. They have great advice, great products, and great prices.

Being active has always been prevalent in my life. I started Ballet at the age of 3 and continued on as a dancer for 17 years. After college and upon moving from Charlotte to Nashville, I found it to be quite a struggle to find balance in my life. I finally found a gym close by and grew a new found love for weight lifting. Going to the gym sets my tone for the day while giving me more energy and feeling happier with life in general. I want others to see that it's possible to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle between work, family, friends and everything else life throws your way!

What’s up everybody my names Joe I started working out a few years ago and I’ve lost 60 pounds I went from 250 to 192 the past couple of years I’ve changed my eating and lifestyle habits I really like helping people and learning new stuff about fitness

I'm a big guy, been big my whole life. Over the years I have tried various things to get healthy and get my weight down. I'm in my 40s now and trying to look at it all differently. It's a hard road and sometimes I make big progress and sometimes I step back but I keep pushing, forgive the setbacks and try again. There's no clock on it.
Nutrition Faktory is a store I can get behind. They have great advice, great products, and great prices.

Worked out in high school, and a little bit in college. Never stepped foot in a gym or even remotely tried to eat clean, from the time I was 22, till I was 45. Went through a bad divorce. Someone told me the best relief for stress, depression and anxiety, was strenuous strength training. The best advice I ever received! Been training ever since! And yes, it is the best relief!
In 2016, it was suggested, I should try competing. 6 shows later, with 5, 1st place wins, I don’t see the end, no where in sight!

Starting training at 15 yrs old to lose weight. Started running and weight trained in my garage. I've run 5 marathons over 80 10lbs and assorted other races.benched 400 lbs its all evolved into a combination of weights, kettle bells, TRX,boxing and F45 training. Did my own 10,000 rep kettle bell swing challenge with 124 lbs

I’ve been lifting for about 2 years. Id like to meet and converse with other members of the team to brainstorm good workouts to further my knowledge and help me reach my goals and possibly help some of them reach theirs too.

Well I am originally from Wisconsin, and I have been in the Army for 7 Years. I am the proud father of 7 wonderful children. Fitness is a large part of my life other than of course my very big family. I plan on competing as soon as I feel I am ready, and have been training hard! If I'm not at the tent on deployment, or at the house while back in Kentucky you can usually find me at the gym!

Hello! My life is dedicated to fitness. I eat, sleep, and live to stay the best me. I dedicated my body and mind to thus lifestyle. I am positive, outgoing, and love helping anyone and everyone to be better!!!!!

My name is Kalin Lawler. I am a 31 years old, I’m a crossfit athlete and I am currently 9 week postpartum! I have joined nutrition fakery as an ambassador to 1. share my pre pregnancy journey and 2. to follow my postpartum journey on getting back to the gym and getting back into the crossfit competition world! I’ve been doing Crossfit for over 4 years now and competing for 2 years. After joining and training at CrossFit BNA for awhile, I decided to sign up for my first RX (elite) 4 person competition called Mayhem on the Mountain. With 2ish weeks before the competition, I found out I was pregnant and I thought doing crossfit was over. We still went and I completed each event! Being pregnant and working out is very tough! I feel that any woman that has drive to get up in the morning, should get their pregnant butt to the gym. Whether it’s doing the complete workout or just getting on the rower for 45 min. I ended up getting more PRs while I was pregnant than when I was at my prime before I was pregnant. It’s just listening and tuning into your body more than you ever have before. It’s hard and frustrating, but keep pushing yourself! My goal right now is to influence those women who are pregnant, plan to be pregnant and postpartum. You can workout and be healthy if you are in one of these categories. It’s takes drive and dedication to not give up! You CAN do this! I am learning to step out of my conform zone physically, challenge and believe in myself no matter what my weakness might be. I want to inspire and encourage the community to live a healthy, meaningful, and positive lifestyle, focusing on self grow and getting stronger every day! |

I have always admired people who put in the work to have the best abs, the best booty, the best body. After wishing for years to have the perfect body, I decided to go for it. My nutrition and my workouts were off. Depression and anxiety were my excuses. I hired an online coach, and she taught me about diet, something that I always struggled with. I was determined to make the changes, after eight weeks, I decided to find a local coach, someone who could take me to the NPC stage, and now I am on my way to nationals and get that IFBB pro card. My mindset changed. Commitment, discipline, and goals took over , and I was for the first time in years in control of my life, my happiness, and my future. Most importantly I found a passion, to inspire, motivate and push people to the next level. I noticed in me something that I have always wanted to do, to help people make the change, not just physically but emotionally. I want to leave a legacy that makes me proud. I don't want to be an average person surrounded by ordinary people... I want to be amazing! I am a NASM- Certified Personal Trainer I am an IIN Health Coach (Institute of Integrated Nutrition)

Hi, I'm Natalie! :) I am 20 years old and currently training to compete in my first NPC Bikini Competition. Throughout high school, I was always involved in sports but was very sporadic with my training in the gym. Once I got to college I began going to the gym every day, finally started seeing the results I had been wanting, and I haven't looked back since! Now, a little under 2 years into being serious about my health and fitness I thought it was time to try something new to really challenge myself so here I am prepping to compete!

Two things very important to me are my career and my health. I teach Kindergarten in Nashville, TN. I like to set an example for my students and others around me about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have done CrossFit for almost 5 years. Challenging myself and being a part of such an encouraging community is something I am proud of and wish everyone could experience.

I am a 22 year old fitness enthusiast, I find joy in pushing my body to it’s limits to see what I can do. I’m a former college football and track athlete (Carson-Newman University & MTSU). I have won the squat portion of the 2018 MTSU Strong Man Contest in the middle weight class. I currently compete in weightlifting and fitness competitions.

My name is Xavier I am a 24 year old NPC bodybuilding competitor. I also work for the Davidson county Sheriffs office.

Jason H. Buchanan is multi talented individual originally from Chapel Hill, TN. After moving to Nashville, he found himself accidentally working bebind the scenes in music, having produced hundreds of shows. He also worked for two music festivals, and had had several adventures over the years. During this period in his life, his did not concentrate on his fitness. A former college football player, he let his weight baloon up to 284 lbs. "I knew I had to change, I knew I had to find the athlete that I knew I had inside of me" says Buchanan. "So I joined Gold's in Hendersonville. One I started going back, I just never stopped going. It became a priority to me it became my lifestyle." Over time, he chisled away at himself, and has made great strides with his fitness, but never allows himself to become satisfied. "In fitness, and in life, there is no finish line", he says. He now personal trains out of a private studio in Hermitage called Next Level Strength and Conditioning. "I love showing people the potential that they have inside of them as well", he says. Buchanan now works with notable musicians in Nashville, including Nic Roulette (The Hillbilly Casino), Philip Shouse (Thee Rock & Roll Residency, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley), and Jamie White (The Pink Spiders), amongst others. "I enjoy working with people in showbiz because they are already driven to succeed. It often translates well in the gym." A character away from the gym, Buchanan is also a business owner, with his unique tour guide service "King Of The Road". As his comic alter ego $2 Elvis - The Cheapest Elvis Imposter in America - he takes tourists for rides in his 1957 Cadillac Sedan Deville showing them the sights of The Music City. He also does weddings, airport shuttles, conventions, corporate events, even roasts. He has been hired by Randy Travis (twice), Sprint Cellular Services, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Tivity Health, ASE Technology. $2 Elvis even has a song written about him by garage blues duo Left Lane Cruiser from Ft. Wayne, IN. "A huge compliment to me and something I will never forget" states Buchanan, adding "I love that band". Buchanan is also a humanitarian, having started a toy drive in his late mother'a honor. "Toys for Kathy's Little Girls and Boys" which is now in it's 10th year. "I wanted to do something to both honor my mother and keep her memory alive" he says. "I am very proud of it, as it has grown into one of the largest toy drives in Middle Tennessee. "It takes a lot of help from a lot of people and I am very appreciative of them all." All toys collected are donated between Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and Project NENA. "Fitness is the cornerstone of my life. As long as I stay active, I feel it is good for my body but better for my mind. I try to be sure I practice what I preach and I really do enjoy helping others realize their potential" states Buchanan.

Hello! My name is Tiffany Pierce! I am Fit was Coach who focuses on the other 23hours you are NOT in the gym. There are so many more factors than just that 30mins-1hour workout . Nutrition -physical activity -but what about the timing of what eating WHAT you are eating-why is sleep important-stress levels-hormones-all of these things play a huge part in the your personal fitness goal. I love to dissect the ups and downs in the midst of the journey.NOT AT ALL EASY, but I build a relationship with each one of my clients and we get to the finish line TOGETHER. I am a type 1diabetic and also have a few years under my belt majoring in Nutrition on a college level. I have been an athlete my entire life and have always been into health and fitness. I promote mental/emotional health before any other aspect because I believe it’s more mental than it ever will be physical . I also. Believe I “baby steps” so each individual can create their own race against THEMSELVES-“BEATING THE OLD YOU-NOONE ELSE”. I have experienced training in the competitive world of body building, but I learned very quickly that the journey wasn’t for me. I admire all individuals who do challenge themselves in that way because it takes a great deal of discipline. I will always be a student In life and I believe e we can all continuing learning from others . I focus a great deal on self development and becoming a better version of myself . My ultimate goal is to implement life coaching tools into my fitness coaching and to one day soon. When I hit my heaviest right before my wedding I decided it was time to begin to focus on me again. This year I decided to begin competing again. Later this year I will be competing in the PCA Finals in Florida. Fitness and nutrition are my passion. I live by and compete by "keep moving forward."

NPC Figure Competitor I first got into competing in 2015 when I decided to take my love for fitness to the next level. What started as simply something to do to relieve stress and keep me occupied after work, turned into a passion. Since 2015 I have competed in a number of shows, and used the discipline I have learned from being a successful competitor to become a better athlete, employee, motivator and so much more. With every show that I prep for I work to not only better myself, but to inspire others to better themselves and follow their passion.

I’ve lost around 100 pounds, and my goal is to compete in bodybuilding. |

Hi I am a fitness enthusiast which I want to promote everyone being more focused on health nutrition and working out.

I started my fitness in 1998, where I always toyed with competing in the NPC, I would get so far in my prep and stop because of fear of not being good enough. In 2014 I had a work injury that damaged the nerve in my left elbow. After recovering from that injury I started back into fitness. In 2016 at a different job I received a life changing injury resulting the partial amputation of two fingers on my right hand. While recovering from that injury and many surgeries with the last being January 2018, I lost my Mom suddenly. I ended up depressed and not able to do anything. My weight blew up from 160, to 296 in January 2018. January 2018 after finally being released from medical care I started slowly back in the gym but was serious about it. January 2019 at 236 pounds I took it seriously and with hard work I ended 2019 at 180 pounds. I’m looking forward to seeing my goals of 140 pound and getting passed the fear of stepping on to stage in 2021. |

I look at everyday as a stepping stone to becoming better and be more successful as time goes on. I am a very approachable person that will set an awesome tone for your company. Between my image, networking skills, and experience with marketing, I feel that I will be able to bring a lot of great things to the table with our partnership!

My name is Brian Aten, and I am 38 years old. I have been married since 2006 to my wife Brooke. Originally I am from Fort Myers, Florida, and moved to Tennessee 6 years ago. In January 2018, I weighed 352lbs, wore 46 pants and 4xl shirts. I had high blood pressure, and could barely run 30 seconds without running out of breath. On 1/17/18, I decided that enough was enough, and I began the Keto diet. I also set a goal of losing 33% of my total body weight, and coined my adventure “Mission33”. In addition to the keto diet, I began running. First a few minutes, eventually a 5k, then a 10K, and now I am working my way toward a half marathon. Through 1 year, I lost 70lbs; but decided I needed to increase my efforts, so I joined a gym. One of the first things I learned was that I needed to provide my body the necessary tools to help me attain my goals, at which time I found the Nutrition Faktory. In building that relationship, I’ve learned a ton about supplements and fueling my body. As of 6/10/19, I’ve lost 108lbs, down to 244. Mission 33 is so close to completion I can taste it! 2% more to go! Aside from running and working out at the gym, I am a Michigan football fanatic, and I enjoy playing with my 3 dogs as well as have a hobby doing woodworking.

My husband and I both shop at nutrition faktory. Love to help promote local businesses.

I used to be someone who didn’t care how he looked, didn’t care what he ate or drank without thinking of the long term impact. I finally made a choice to make a change to start eating better and working out and paying more attention to my health. I’m not where I want to be but I’m still working on it, and trying to be the best version of myself mentally and physically. When I started I was 285 pounds, and currently sit at 235 pounds. My body composition is made up of more muscle, and i focus my training on traditional bodybuilding programs.

Getting into the gym, going on a hike, or stepping onto my yoga mat allows me to take time for myself. I live a hectic life, so taking 30 minutes to an hour for myself is necessary. It allows me to be apart of a community that understands the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. I am able to detox, destress, and build a deeper understanding of my body and its needs.

I joined Gold's Gym & got a personal trainer Cory Adams. He has helped me lose about 50lbs,& has got me on track with eating right,& training to meet goals. I am enjoying this lifestyle, the result I receive from putting in the hard work,& eating to meet long term goals, not short term satisfaction.

I’m 39 years young mother of 5 NPC physique competitor on a journey to becoming national qualified so I can one day become a IFBB pro and to able to share my story with other women and men that just because your older doesn’t mean have to stop improving yourself 8 years ago I almost died giving birth but prayed if I could live through it I would make sure that I would change my lifestyle not only for my health but my children too 4 weeks in ICU I was almost as good as new and I’ve dedicated my journey since 8 years later I’m in better shape then I was 16 years old nothing should hold anyone back

Fitness and nutrition became a big part of my life in 2014. I just recently became a competitive bodybuilder in 2018. I compete in The Women’s Physique Division and absolutely love the fitness community and the people that come with it. I’m always looking to better myself and learn all I can to improve, not only my fitness and nutrition knowledge, but also the lives of others to become healthier and achieve their goals. Lifting, being competitve, pushing myself above and beyond limits mentally and physically, are things I enjoy. Challenging myself to see how far I can push day in and day out, no matter how hard or how painful, is what keeps me going!

In 2013 I got involved in fitness. The goal at the time was just to lose weight, but I ended up competing in an NPC competition in 2014. Somewhere in the process I fell in love with fitness. I was amazed by the changes I saw in my body and my overall strength. I did not continue to compete, but kept the passion for fitness. Almost two years ago I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and I have found that eating healthy and exercise has really made a difference in my health. It is my desire to share my story and help people become the best versions of themselves.

Raised in Nashville and competed in sports most of my life. Eventually, I got married, had kids and found myself with the "Dad Bod". Working for a local healthcare company I noticed that a lot of our patients were my age, over weight and on several medications before they had reached 40. I decided that I wanted to do something to help prevent as opposed to just treating the problem. So, I started training myself and got certified as a personal trainer.
